Ruchi Wholesalers has been operating since 1998 in Matsapha, Swaziland. The business had started as a small supermarket there after it grew into a small wholesale. In 2005 the company joined Shield Buying & Distribution Group whereby the demand for services and support from the small and medium retailers had increased at an unexpected growth.
This growth resulted in the expansion of the wholesalers from 1000 sqm to 3000 sqm in 2007. Looking at the increasing demand in the county, in 2014 the directors launched R-MART a banner group across the country. This lead to another expansion of 3200 sqm which became R-Mart Distribution Centre and bulk buying outlet. In the company's effort to meet customers’ requirements, a liquor wholesale was established 2017. Another expansion of 4000 sqm warehouse is currently on construction as the demand escalates rapidly over the years. By the end of 2017 Ruchi Wholesalers had 3347 registered retailers and 554 registered suppliers with the estimated revenue of E400-E450 millions
